A few months ago, I posted for advice on lightening a spot on my face. A darling young lady (Sofi!) advised me to exfoliate a few times a week and that has done wonders. I checked a few different products and the best one I found was on the shelf in my kitchen. That product is sugar. yes, white granulated sugar! Put a few spoonfulls in a bowl and add a few drops of water to moisten it, then scrub away! Not only does it get rid of all the yucky pore clogging crap, it's antibacterial!
Comme des Garcons
Thank you for the tip ...
1I will try it tonight
Oh wow! Well, I am glad you took my advice and something so simple is helping you out! Did you try anything that DIDN'T work??
2Sugar is fantastic exfoliator. Aww, glad I could help
Yes at least sugar is good for SOMETHING! Lol I use it in the summer to exfoliate my body before bikini time.
3Yes, I prefer it for a body exfoliator, but use something else on my face.
4I've read that Carmindy does this.
5I find that sugar is a little harsh for the delicate facial skin ....
6The best product I found was St Ives Microdermabrasion scrub ...unlike other scrubs , this is very delicate and there is no redness after you rinse the face .
You couls also try to do a light steam to your fcae and then use a wet wash cloth to gently tug at your skin ..this too acts as a exfoliating treatment .
